Guitar Straps

Please list color. width, material, design (if any) lock type (if any) and adjustment (slide buckle adjust, size slotted adjust or other).

I have tried alot of straps down through the years. Mainly I would get them for Christmass or B Day presents and just use what ever I was given. But when it comes to buying what I like, my favorite is a black, thick leather 2 1/2 inch strap. that you adjust by finding the size you wand and feeding the front piece through the slots. The slide buckle things always seem to slip on me after a while. All three that I have on my guitars now are plain black but I have seen some designs that were cool, they just cost more so I went with plain lol.

I use Ft. Bryan 3 1/2 inch wide all leather straps with the size slotted adjustment.

I've got a nice 2 inch nylon Gibson strap, it fits really tight into the strap buttons, and has never once failed me. Its really soft and smooth too

I use black nylon straps with leather ends. Leather straps are too expensive IMO, especially leather straps that are long enough. I am big and hefty, lol ;D ... and the bigger the belly is the longer the strap has to be. LMFAO! I have a specific strap for each guitar, too. Each strap has Schaller security locks on it, I use them exclusively.

I have several of the black nylon kind, and still have the first one I ever bought
( back in 1985 ).
Recently, tho', I saw one with a design by Jerry Garcia that I had to use for my cherry red semi-hollow. It's half red, and half blue done in a psychedelic pattern. Pretty cool.
The other break from tradition I have is a brown tooled-leather with the slotted adjuster. It looks like something out of the past, and really compliments the brown sunburst on my jazz box, which, by the way, I play rock on... ;D
I won't put a guitar on without Schaller strap locks... It's one cost I gladly spend the cash for...

mine is a sturdy black leather strap. i think its a gucci or versachi or some thing like that. wait no it maybe a polo from ralph lauren. ;D
