For any of you that remember my post about our 4th of july jam, this post will sound familuar. It was the same thing (open jam) same place (Dad's garage), but on a smaller scale. Poor ol Noeljob could not make it,(again) but otherwise it was alot of fun. Bassist Dave (aka kahntheundead), drummer Vaughn, brother Shane (aka supershane guitar and vocals) and myself (lead guitar) opened up before anyone showed up and practiced our hard rock/alternative set. After people started showing up, Dad, Shane, Vaughn, Dave and I traded off between the bass, guitar and vocals and had alot of fun playing all kinds of unrehearsed blues/classic rock stuff. The crowd seemed to really enjoy it, as I know I did. Then a few more members of Dad's band showed up and played a blues/country/rock set, then it was my pieced together bands turn again. We had fun with it and played our set the best we could with Shane and Vaughn that had not practiced with us but for the one time earlier in the day. It was far from polished but it sounded good enough to get a rize out of the now growing crowd. Alot of people were in costume and having a good time and we all got several turns to play with different players from the two bands that showed up. There were a few very pretty girls there dressed to thrill, which is always a plus. And in all it was a very festive kind of scene. We lost the drummer and one bass player (Dave) about midnight, so the rest of us took turns getting up and playing with guitars, vocals, blues harp, and bass well into the early morning hours. In alll it was alot of fun and everyone said they had a great time. It was a bit too cold for the pool but we did have a great bonfire, food drinks, costumes, good friends and of course some damn fine music.

p.s. I am in the white shirt, faded jeans and a ball cap, playing the grey bass and blue quilt top. You can also see my Cyber Twin in a few of the pics.
p.p.s. Please no nasty comments on yafro pages. Kendra was nice enough to post these pics, so be nice back if you choose to add a comment.
