Whenever I click the chat button and type in my user name and gender, I click login, but nothing comes up except for a red x. Is there any plugins or anything I need to download to get the chat to work?

So, when does everyone hang around there? I guess many of us are in different time zones....

I check in a couple of times a day. I'm at CET(central european time)+1, like Steelpriest.. thats 7 hours ahead of forum time (I think)

Exactly, it is... seven hours ahead. When I come home late at night after a rehearsal Old Geezer has his supper, when I have my breakfast it´s midnight over there in the U.S.A. ;D

In order for everyone to be there at a specific time we would all have to go into our profiles and set the time offset to "0" which is "Forum Time"

Ooooooor I could to a simple mathematic operation, and subtract 7 hours from my time, and get forum time.. or something.. err.. But we need a real schedule anyway

lets pick a time that we can chat that works with all time zones. Not too early, yet not too late. And preferably on a weekend

...why....................
...my younger daughter has to urgently keep in touch with all of her friends about who said what...............
...what do we have to say that's so urgent........
I'll stick with the forum...there's no time zones affecting it............

Well stated... but it might be fun once in awhile.... And maybe useful for online help when it comes to more difficult explanations concerning adjustments or wiring. When you found help in a thread but still don´t know exactly what to do you can arrange a meeting and get online advice in realtime.
