Hello to everybody here at the Epifriends Site. Finished the "move' to sunny Fla. Finally got around to unpacking the computer, and reassembling the "rat`s nest". Everything went as planned during the relocation. The new dig`s are cozy. The weather is wonderfully warm, as I`m sure it will be this Winter. Yes, I did unpack my guitars first, for those of you who would ask. And you would do things differently? LOL! Let`s Rock `n` Roll. Jim

...glad to hear that all is okay with your move...hope you enjoy the 'Sunshine State'..........
...actually...I can identify with your moving-in situation...we're packing up everything in the kitchen...the house looks like a bomb went off in it...(say that on a commercial flight & see where it gets ya)...we're having our kitchen re-modeled...it's amazing the crap you accumulate over the years...as you've just recently discovered during your latest move.............
...just came in from mowing the lawn...she-who-must-be-obeyed said it was okay for me to take a break...so I'm downstairs in my office havin' a brewski.............
...yes...I can understand unpackin' the gits first...if I can get away with it...I'll be practicing a bit before I go back upstairs to help box-up stuff I'd rather throw out.............
...it'll be interesting for me to see how you like FL...state motto ought to be...'Got Sunscreen'.......... ;D

Nice to hear everything went well. Hopefully the change of climate won´t have such a big effect on your guitars... Speaking about wonderfully warm weather... here in Germany we suffer under awful heat, lol... after having waited so long for the summer finally to arrive. But so be it... I wish you all the best for your life in sunny Florida!

Well, I hope that none of us Epifriends who might live in Florida has been harmed in any way. I am watching the news here on TV all the time and my focus is really on Charley...

8-)Thanks to all for your concern. Yes, Charley was a real son-of-a-gun. Bopnnie was no threat to central Florida, but Charley made up for it. We did manage to get to a nearby family member`s home just before the storm hit. What a ride! The Mrs. and I spent 2 hours in a closet with a total of 4 adults, and our dog, AND THEIR 3 DOGS!! Scared, but unscathed, we emerged when the winds calmed down. Only lost some shingles, and a couple of trees. Very minor damage compared to what a lot of the neighbors sustained. Missing roofs, screened pool enclosures, power poles and trees leaning on the homes nearby. I think the toughest part was going without electricity and ice for 8 days. Our apartment community had much roof damage, as all of the apartments are one story affairs, and each has it`s own roof. There was lots, and lots of mature landscape damaged. A few broken windows. No big deal as there was no loss of life. Had to toss out all of our refrigerator contents, of course. Again, no big deal. My guitars were locked up nice and tight in their cases, and kept high and dry next to my amp on an upper shelf in the hall closet. It has been quite an experience. I sincerely hope I never have to go through on of these storms again. The devastation is unbelieveable I`ve got to begin some more clean up now. Thank you again for the concern, my brothers, and sisters. I`ll be back on the forum when my work is finished. Jim

Good to hear that you are well... By the way, you don´t miss much on the forum here. It´s very quite and seemingly lots of us take a break from the internet and enjoy summer.
