Oh boy, I guess you all know it... a computer is a nice thing that enables us to do so many things nowadays we never thought of a couple of years ago... It all began some weeks ago with programs that were not running properly, then the system froze very often and had to be resetted, etc. ... I finally decided to format the HD and had to do lots of data saving before on CDRs. Now after finally installing Windows anew I found out that obviously one of the HDs is defective plus the installation of Windows is somewhat incomplete... errors, errors and errors... lol *desperately laughing* ;D I guess I will be away for a couple of days soon, maybe only drop into the forum with my old computer and see what´s happening, but no new uploads of content to the website. I have to fix this annoying apparatus before it drives me nuts, lol. Sometimes I think we spend more time with fixing computers than actually working with them. How nice is a simple and good guitar, a bunch of fellow musicians and some couple of beers... and peace. D'oh, I hate computers! ;D

Hi Steel
Problem is, we have all become so dependent on the things quickly, especially for work. e mail is a big issue with me, I send and receive around 200 - 250 every day, the bloody virus checker (panda) deserves a medal for picking up every netsky p worm and all the other delights these weirdo's dream up.
I still "write" real letters to many of my relatives and friends using a founatin pen (real ink !!!). It is a very pleasant feeling when checking the mail to find, in amongst credit card statements, utility bills etc, a handwritten letter from someone who cares about you .
Anyway, computers, bit like women in my case, can't live with them, can't live without them !!!
Have a good weekend

Imagine how it is for me, being disabled and spending about 18 hours a day on the computer. I would probably be really lost without my computer.

Hey Chet. I understand completely. I`m ability challenged too. (I hate the Disabled, and Handicapped labels) I`ve been like this for almost 10 years. Yes, IT SUCKS!!!!!! Now to the other problem that is posted above by Steele. "Thanks to the computer, it now takes only a fraction of the time to up" Jim
