Congratulations! I´m still nervous when being confronted with a gig, not nervous about my own playing, but I am always worried about the technical side of things. Will the sound be good, will monitors work properly and all that stuff... I once nearly suffered a nervous breakdown when entering the stage... "Oh gosh, my amp is defective... not a sound to be heard!" Lol, hehe, I simply forgot to plug in the guitar. ;D But this shock had enormous effects on my playing this nite, I admit it was not some of the best gigs I played. Due to some line up changes I did not gig for a while now, now facing upcoming gigs with the new line-up and having a new singer (a total newbee but talented) that never gigged before I feel pretty frightened! Lol... but I think we should do a good job. Playing in front of a public crowd is very different from rehearsing, but there is one thing I have to point out. I rather prefer playing in front of 400 people than performing for let´s say 20 or 30 friends.

Well done
Hope you had a mighty big feeling of satisfaction after the last number.
Steel, I prefer to play is large bars rather than auditoriums, main reason being there is much mor liklihood of the crowd keeping you supplied with beer, especially after you have done your numbers !!
