After only three months we have over 100 forum members, it is a nice bunch of people that has gathered here, no flaming, no trolling, I am totally satisfied with this site, so I wanna know how you all came across this site? Sometimes I and other early members put a link on the "official site", or did you find it through a search engine... I am just curious... Thanks for all your contributions to the forum!

During the gradual degeneration of the "official" epi forum ,I would keep checking in for new posts that may have contributed to helping me become a better guitar player. Unfortunately, it seemed there were hardly any new posts, and when there were , it was usually just a lot of name calling, arguing, and a lot of other crap . It was sad to see the way that things went, when a few bad apples decided to ruin it for everbody. I got the link to Epifriends off the "official" site. I would like to give a big THANKS to Steelpriest , and to all the others who contribute to making this a great educational and fun site!

well, like most people here i remember the days, when we didn't have this place yet, but in those days the official forums were a bit cosier.... so, yes, i heard about it on the official forums, was hard to miss the information because there were wild discussions about the whole thing...

Well, back in the day when the conversation level on the official started to go down and they started to censor posts (notice how there are relatively very few posts on the amp forum over there compared to their other forums - because no one talked about Epi amps ;D ), we started talking about making a message board to get away from all of that, so Steel finally decided that he would be the one to get the ball rolling and he made this site. I joined a few days after that.

actually I picked up a little galaxy 10 off ebay last month for less than $100. I've been playing around on since and its not bad. Just 10wts, but its tube and has some pretty good tone to it. No reverb..a little bit of a bummer, but its perfect to practice on and sounds MUCH better than my other little solid state practice amp. OK.now somethings been said about epi amps...you can go on with your regularly scheduled program...lol

I remember when Steelpriest first got the idea of making this site back on the main site, I saw his post about this site, and decided to join it. I think I was member #3 to join ;D

Hi all I never really spent much time on the "official" site, just seemed to be all bad language, people yelling at each other and very little of interest to me. This site is enjoyable, guys (and girls ) of all ages sharing ideas and experiences. Chris - UK
