Finally, ends came to ends between me and my doctors about my chest pains on Friday. After dealing with these pains for two weeks, my cardiologist decided to do that Cardio Cathertor thing. Basically, they run a cathetor up your femoral arterie in your groin. Ok....no big deal. I thought this might happen. Hell, I even read a few books and things about it online. I was told that it was very painless, back on your feet quick, quick healing process and no stitches.
That was a line of pure BULLSHIT!!! Cardio Cathetor's, otherwise know as an ANGIO GRAM was one of the most painfull things I have ever been through! You don't get knocked out. Nooo.....just the area around the entry point gets numbed. And when it's all over, you feel like you went and got yourself beat by three thugs! Now, I tore the knee cap off of my knee and had the surgies, I've broken a collar bone playing hockey, I've had over 120 stitches in my short 27 years. But guys, this was the worst!
Now, I guess I should be happy that they didn't find anything major...and I am. But still....man!! That hurt!! As some of you guys older than I start getting near those days when the doc wants to do that to you....request....no, DEMAND, that they put you out under a local!! Oh....and they don't tell you until afterwards that you can't have sex for a week! Keep that one in mind.....lol....
Alright....sorry about that rant. Hopefully tomorrow I can play some guitar instead of just cleaning and looking at them. Just a few words of wisdom from someone who has been there....
