I couldn't decide where to put this post so it came here.
I was making some final adjustments on my Epi P-90 project and decided to plug into the Marshall AS50R Acoustic Amp just to see what it was like.
All I can say is: If you have an Acoustic Amp and a P-90 guitar, give it a try!
I'm not real techie when it comes to amps (not yet anyways) but there does seem to be a difference in sound between electric guitar amps and acoustic guitar amps. The acoustic amp seemed to wake up the P-90's a bit, gave them a little more bottom and made them seem to be more resonate.

I am no Techie either.
It was my birthday back in March and beers did flow, I ended up 3 doors away (secluded house no kids, allowed to make noise) with my dot along with other guys, my buddie is a big fan of anything accoustic and I have to say the dot did sound "different" thru his Marshall accoustic amp, very mellow yet vibrantly so had a very melodic sound at the bottom end.
I don't understand them and don't anticipate getting one but they definately produce a distinctive tone.
