I apreciate any music thats preformed well. I am not a fan of country but I like a few Robert Earl Keen Jr. tunes and a Willie Nelson song now and then won't kill me. That being said I do like Rock, Blues, Hard Rock, Alternative,(to a point) Hard $hit like Metallica, Toadies and Rage A.T.M. I like my old Speed Metal songs because I wrote them. There are a few "old" Death Mosh bands I like because they remind me of when I was young enough to get "Caught In A Mosh" and not be sore the next day ;D I still love old $hit like Doors, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, AC/DC, Jimi Hendrix, C.C.R., ZZ Top, Molly Hatchet, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Eric Clapton/Cream/Derick and the Dominoes, Little Feat, Fog Hat, Bob Segar, Eagles, Ted Nugent, Joe C0cker, Stones and on and on and not so old $hit like The Black Crows, Stone Roses, Stone Temple Pilots and such. I get into some of the newer bands like Jet, The White Stripes, and like that. Basicaly I am a music wh0re.
p.s. I tried to write Joe C0cker the correct way and it.... well look Joe peniser what the Hell?

But the older one becomes the less one is interested in new styles or trends... when you are young you are more open minded, I think. I hate and detest nu metal for example, but never listened to it really, just had quick glimpse, disliked the weird outfit of most of those bands, disliked their music and returned to my old fashioned Heavy Metal and Hard Rock Music, guess I´m an old fart of 38 also... hehehe! But I think it was the same thing back in the 70´s when Kiss and Alice Cooper became big... they had new music and weird looks as well... One the other hand they were genuine, while today´s Nu Metal is just a ripp off and a cheap copy of what has been already. *sigh* I´m looking for my 40th birthday... I´m an old fart.... ;D LMFAO

I listen to pretty much all of it, from classical to thrash medal and all points in between... Having teenagers around me 24/7 my music is influenced by a melting pot of different music and sounds.... However with that said, I am an old metal head at heart... Like I say: LP's & Flying V's and Heavy Metal Rock 'N' Roll....

Hey...I listen to any and all blues, rock from all eras especially the late 60s, 60s soul, a little country, some folk, some alternative and because I have two teenage boys I hear rap all of the time but I cannot say that I listen to it! Also, like Steelpriest, I listen to as much Frank Zappa as I can, the guy was pure genius and he could really play that guitar! When I play it is mostly blues and older rock, some of it Southern!
