Hi guys, let me ask you a question. Who of you sold an FX board, pedal, or whatsoever and then regretted it bitterly and purchased the same device again? When I bought my Yamaha DG 1000 19" preamp, I sold my Yamaha DG Stomp, because I thought it would not make sense for me any longer. What I forgot was the fact that the cabinet simulation of the DG 1000 was not that good as the DG Stomp´s. I tried around with microphoning guitar cabinets recently, but was not really satisfied. So I thought I am a pretty idiot, that sold this amazing Yamaha amp modeler/preamp/FX stomp box. Yes, the DG 1000 is a better preamp, but the other device was so versatile with it´s effects, also it was able to be used as a Midi board. Well, I sold it but now bought one again, same device, but with an additional expression pedal for wah-wah effects. What did I pay? The same money that I got for the one I sold! LOL, sometimes I feel like a moron... D'oh! ;D Anyone of you made similar experiences?

Hmm, yes, but not with guitar-equipment I had a small refrigerator in my first apartment, then I moved to another apartment which had a refrigerator, so I sold the one I had (9 months old..) for half the price I bought it for.. Well, I moved out 4 months later, to another place, so I had to buy a new one. I needed it fast, and the only model I could get was the same as my old one, only a little more expensive than what I paid for the old one..

I use to have a Gretsch tennessean chet atkins model that i got in trade for an Alvarez 12 string. This was back in the late 70's, played it for 8 yrs. Then picked up a Gibson The Paul, the solid walnut one with the dirty fingers pickups. Got short on money and thought...well one has to go. I chose to keep the gibby. Stupid mistake , those tennesseans go for $1500-2000 now. I practically gave it away for $300....granted I only had about $250-300 in it. I've wanted another one ever since. Hindsight is always 20-20
