Hey all, I've been on a Pink Floyd binge the last few days and sadly discovered just how dissatisfied I am with my distortion pedal (Boss DS-1), which fuzzes up my single notes and makes them sound... distorted (go figure). However, upon listening to the Wall and Dark Side of the Moon, I was struck by both how his distortion growled and yet seemed to clarify his playing ever more (see the solos from Comfortably Numb). What is he using on this? Is it good ol' distortion or is he using an overdrive pedal? Thanks
