went from a digitech rp100 to the korg and wow what a difference in sound.both are built like a brick shithouse, but the korg was much easier to edit the patches on the fly. also the korg has a 16 second record feature for guitar or stereo input to help learn tunes and you can slow the playback and play along at 50% of the speed.also you have the pedal to noodle around with.i normally use it for volume right now.never tried the boss gt6, but i could not justify paying $300 more then the korg. now i have a tube amp and the sound is fantastic. now the downsides the power supply on these things are cheap junk!why can't they make a box with a permanent cord? or if they must have a power supplu unit, give me a friggan off switch.the digitech and the korg you have to unplug it to shut it off?!!!!?!?!? no on in these companies said"uh guys??wheres the shutoff switch. and my other biatch on the korg is you can't use a compressor bank up is easy bank down you have to hit 2 bank switches and if you don't hit them in the exact timing it will bank up on you..all in all a good purchase.i am very happy
