i was wondering if a boss equalizer and noise suppresser is worth 200 dollars. what i mean is that how much of a sound or tone differnce or enhancment does it make and is it worth that much also what is a good wireless system under 100, right now i have an epi std les paul loaded with two seymour duncan 59's and a marshall 100 mg dfx.

Well, the noise suppressor can also power the rest of your pedals. I use mine as a noise gate and with a daisy chain to power everything else. Mine doesn't have an equalizer...it's an NS-2

It acts as a noise gate (noise suppressor) and it also acts as a power unit. It has an outlet to power all your other pedals with. You plug it in with an adapter then use a "daisy chain" which you can get at any guitar store and power the rest of your pedals. Saves on batteries

Hmmm, this will be difficult... look for a 2nd hand one on Ebay, I recommend to buy a diversity system which is more reliable concerning drop outs. For that little money you will probably get only a VHF device, but nothing wrong with it, I still use VHF wireless and I can hear no difference when I compare it to our bass player´s new Sennheiser UHF system. Oh boy 100 $ isn´t that much... But anyway I recommend Nady, look for a used one...

When I used stomp boxes a 7 band EQ was a must for me.
