Oh boy... I am laying down rhythm guitar tracks here right at the moment for our cover version of "Because the night" ... The most simple stuff turns out to be the most tricky again when it comes to recording it properly... The vocals are slightly on the offbeat in this song, but I have no vocals on this recording so far, so my guitar sounds somewhat "wrong" being perfectly on the drum groove... somewhat "static"... Hmmm, I recorded both rhythm guitars now four times... I think I´m gonna keep this versions... lol, maybe I replace them as soon as the vocals are recorded. I hate recording... ;D What I want to say is, some people consider easy to listen stuff as AC/DC, etc. as simple, but this reduced playing takes a lot of concentration and accuracy...

Yeah I know what you mean. I had a session with the BR8 lastnight by myself. I put down drums (well basic rhythm) 2 guitar tracks, a lead track and bass line on one of noeljobs songs(hes gonna love that ;D ) I just couldn't get it right. I had a beer or ten and went back and just kind of went thru and half assed it. I listened to it this morning and the drunk version sounds great! Go figure. ;D

Ah, you guys missed out on the days when recording meant you had to pack up and drive to a studio to perform in front of strangers while the cash register -- I mean, clock -- ticked....
