What can this program actually do? I visited the site but found not much information about the facilities of this program... Is it worthwhile when I have Logic Audio already? Or is it some kind of nice simple helping tool and easy to use for certain purposes?

Doh!
Should have told everyone what this program is. Basically, it is a searchable FAQ with tips and techniques for recording different instruments Some rudimentary EQ and compression tips....
It doesn't do much else, but contains a lot of good starting point info and more....

May be this software ( GuitarFX.Net) will be interesting too. It allows to use PC as a guitar effects processor (noise gate, distortion, EQ8/16 bands, flanger, wah, chorus, delay, reverb)

Thanks for the link Digi....I'm gonna play tomorrow!!! (the wife is going shopping.....lol) Another useful program for everyone is at www.drumagog.com. This program allows for replacement of recorded drum sounds. Kind of like like a sampler in some ways. As an example, suppose you have a weak snare drum. Everything else sounds great, but you have a snare drum you can't do anything with. Well, put this direct x effect in an insert point of your software. This pluggin "can see" the hit, as well as the velocity of the hit, and trigger a great snare sound. This is a god send for those of us not only in home studios, but pro facilities as well. Mind you, this is not an excuse to neglect getting a good sound.....but this is a high quality way to fix problems.... Try it out. Even with the demo samples, the kick and snare sound killer when you put the right EQ on them. These are of course REAL drums sounds....just triggered to hit on cue...... Brandon

If you end up liking Drumagog....do a seacrh for NS Kit and download it....big file....but lots of nicely sampled single drum hits....toms, kicks, cymbals, snares, and more....
Good stuff for the home recording world!!!
