Hey folks, new Epi owner here. Been playing acoustic for about 25 years, this is my first electric ever. It's just a Special II (I know, I know, but I still like it) with a Line 6 Spider 15 watt practice amp, so I can noodle around a bit and learn some lead. I use headphones most of the time, so I don't bug my birds and my wife too much, and I can play into the wee hours as well. Someday, I'll slip into something better, but for now, this will do.

Congrats on your Special II. I've found them to be very decent guitars at a very good price.
And of course, welcome aboard! you've found a good place to hang around!

Fresh blood! Welcome! I'd give you maybe three years before you're standing next to a 100 watt marshall tube amp and not caring too much about your birds, that's what an electric does to you...
