Hi all, im Joe. ;D Im new.

I play lead guitar in a band called Atomic Pilot. check us out if you like good old real blues based rock n roll.

anyway.. this site is pretty awesome, so i decided to join!

here are my axes:



you can see my two epis in the front. both awesome guitars. the red one in the foreground is my No.1 axe.. or as i affectionately call her.. my wife.
shes heavily modded, and as a guitar tech who recently refretted her for me said "i have never seen action that low and still be playable! not even on a Gibson." ;D

also, she seems to be in some kind of strange color. i have never seen another LP done up in that color burst. the closest i can describe it is "wine red." can anyone clear that one up for me? its much darker than cherry and more "purple."

theres no bass yet and its not eq'd but yall can get an idea of whats to come.
im on lead, and rox on vocals, jeremy on drums.

my setup is just my red LP straight into my amp. i dont use effects. and all of the leads are of course played in one take.. thats the only way for me!

neither do I, usually. I like to keep it simple and honest. I do have a Fuzz Face and a Muff, they are quite cool, but most of the times I can't be bothered to plug them in... just too much work.

I'm 20, by the way, so there are still young people doin' the real thing...
