I am very happy I happened across this site, an excellent source of information on all things Epiphone. After 30+ years of hobbyist playing, I have really begun to appreciate what a value these guitars represent. I have a AJ-18 SCE and a recently purchased Les Paul-100. I love both of these guitars, they really inspire you to play. The acoustic is actually a replacement from a previous model that Epiphone replaced under Warranty. They stood behind their product, and was a major reason I purchased the LP-100. Happy Pickin' Horsty

Welcome! Glad to have you with us. It's nice to know Epi stepped up to the plate and made things right for you. That is the measure of a top shelf company and the difference between getting a one time customer and a repeat customer....as your second purchase points out.
Now you just need to treat us to a pic or two.

It's nice to know Epi stepped up to the plate and made things right for you. Yes, and they've been good with me that way as well; I got a replacement new AJ-15E. Honoring their Lifetime Warranty has been a real selling point to me for Epiphone, and incentive for buying more product -- being assured they'll take care of things after the sale.

I've been curious about the LP-100... Seems like a great buy for the money.

Thanks to all for the nice replies to my first post. Yes, the LP-100 is an incredible bargain. I was in the market for another Electric, something with Humbuckers to compliment my Hwy1 Strat. I wanted a good knock around guitar that I could take on trips and leave in my locker at work, etc. When I went to Guitar Center in Arlington Heights, Ill. last week, I was very impressed with this new in the box HCS example of this model. The playability as is was excellent, with a pretty fat tone considering the body is so much slimmer than a traditional LP. Fit and finish is quite good in all aspects. It looks like a more expensive guitar, even with the Bolt-On Neck. For $325.00 with a gig bag it is a real deal.#27 at Epiphone did the Set/Up on both of my guitars, I was happy with both of them straight away.
