Hi. Photoweborama here.. Great to find this place. I'm mostly a Fender guy, but I just got a new Epi LP Standard Plus and really love it. I was on the epiphone forum, but there are a lot of people there that don't like Epiphones and I'm getting tired of hearing about all the other brands that are so much better than Epiphones. I hope it is not like that here. Seems to be, at least around this forum, folks tend to build bridges, not burn them. I haven`t been to the "Official" forum in quite a while. (Jimboe) I don`t feel as though I`m missing anything.

Welcome! I'll echo what everyone else has said.....this is a great spot to hang your hat for a while. Funny, I never new about the BS that went on at that other site because I only stopped in there a couple times (never registered) to try and find some very specific information. When I read about the stuff that went on there I had to go back and check it out (kind of like how people absolutely have to stop and look at an accident scene). When I read the BS there I couldn't believe my eyes!
None of that stuff here. Just a great, easy going bunch always willing to share info and opinion and always in a kind and courteous manner.
Nice to have ya here!

Funny, I guess because it is Epi's official board, everyone knows exactly where the target is...
I feel sorry for the newer players with their first guitars that are really trying to get legitimate information, only to be bombarded with messages from people telling them they are stupid for buying an Epi, and they should have bought an Agile or XYZ guitar..

Thats the main reason I stay there and watch that board (Offical Epi) I don't post much there any more. Mainly post a link to here when someone gets the BS answers.
