I recommend Good Riddance (Time of Your Life) by Green Day. It uses some easy chords (G5, C2+5, D, and Em) and a very simple up and down strum pattern. Thanks but no thanks. No offense but every little poser around a campfire trying to look cool plays that song. Plus it's kind of whimpy. As fas as theory goes, my boyfriend's band all agree. Theory has no place in punk rock, so screw theory! But thanks for the advice all the same, you read your books and I will take lessons. |

Good Luck to you in your endevers. I didn't mean to sound like a bitch. I just don't think Im am serious enuff to sit and learn all that stuff. My daddy is a super player and does not know theory. I asked him about it and he said that if I like playing enuff to stick with it then it couldn't hurt, but he knows I get bored quickly and said I should wait and see how it goes. He acted like he was impressed that I even posed the question, and we had a real long talk about playing and learning the guitar. And guess fukin what? He let me strum his Gibson and compare it to mine. I thought it was cool, but I realy think it was like a father daughter moment to him. Well anyway he got off my but about comeing home late last sat night. lol PS- I am moody and I do BITE! hehe |
