Hello , My name is Marc. I wanted to introduce myself to you fine folks. I lurked for a few weeks- on this most excellent site- registered, even posted a few times. But , never formally introduced myself. I'm a high school special education teacher; I live in Killeen , Texas. I started playing guitar back in November. When I finally decided to pursue a new hobby, at age 41, I thought what could be cooler than ripping up some major tunes on the 6 string. I consulted with some of guitar playing friends. Epiphone -came up again and again in conversation. So , I researched guitars in my price range, read several reviews, and wound up buying a Epiphone Les Paul Classic. Since the 1st Epi came to my house to live, I've added a few more examples of - great guitar value -to the family It was money well spent. I really like this website; I visit daily .
Enjoy, Marc

Greetings from Texas, I love coming home , drinking a few coldies, plugging in -and practicing my chords and my strumming exercises. I look forward to practicing . I never played an instrument before, so it's all real new. I like it - like it alot. I should have started 20 years ago.
Enjoy, Marc

Once again Howdy cousin. Hope you like it here. Keep on pickin. When I first started playing I couldn't wait until I could just jam with others. When I got to where my own playing started sounding good to me, I couldn't play enough. But I hear what you are saying, I have always loved the guitar. Learning, playing, practicing, polishing and all of it. It's like it was just meant to be.
