I finally registered here after lurking for quite some time. Great forum with a lot of great members.
As you can tell by my user-name, I'm currently active duty USAF with almost 19 years in. I quit playing guitar 15 years ago cuz I sold my gear to buy my wife an engagement ring and never bothered getting more gear until now.
My 11 year old son started playing about 1 1/2 years ago with a starter package I bought him. Since his interest continued to grow, I promised to get him a new guitar when I returned from the desert which was last summer.
Little did I know that while researching and shopping for his new guitar while I was still deployed, my own love for playing would be rekindled. Seven months and $5K later, here I am. I won't go into detail here about our gear; I'll save that for the appropriate thread.
I just know that I love my Epi LPC and it's great to finally be a member here. ;D

Welcome- I did kind of the same thing. I spent 20 yrs and 21 days in the USAF- retired in 1985. Had played guitar for about 22 years and I lost interest. A divorce and a new brother-in-law got me interested again and have been 'whacking at it' for 2 yrs now, Enjoy my Epi LP and an Ovation- Playing the blues and loving it- Enjoy
