hey everyone -
i have to say, i browse a few forums quite regularly, and this is by far the friendliest, coolest place on the net.
well, for those of you that i haven't met yet, my name's touch. i'm a producer and musician. i have a small label/production company here in stamford, ct, called exotic recordings. we have a small protools setup.
i play both guitar and bass in a group, the saucers (www.thesaucers.com). we're a 3 piece group (guitar, bass, drums) and my partner, meredith (the singer), and i switch off on guitar and bass. and that's my younger brother, kevin, on drums. we have 1 cd out so far titled 'eternal intermission'. it's just a 6 song ep, but includes a music video for our song 'late bloomer' (which can be found on launch.com). we are epiphone endorsed artists, and my partner meredith is going to be featured (along with several other lovely ladies) in the next epiphone calendar.
in addition to the saucers, i produce a hip hop group called the nervous system (www.nervoussystem.biz). they perform live over a band. we're about to begin the final mix for their album, 'controlled substance', which should be out this fall.
i've just returned from about 2 months of touring across country. while on the road, our rep gave us the factory tour at epiphone, in nashville. obviously, it wasn't very colorful, because everything's in boxes there. but it was very cool to see anyway.
