Hey all...well, I went to log on to the "official" epi forum and it told me that I was not allowed to log on there...after 2 years??? Saw this place a week or two back, looks good to me. Thanks for letting me register here...Just wanted to say I am glad to be here!  |

 Aha? So they actually ban people? Hmmm... I heard of this before... Have you argued around with the mods or the admin, wierdsley? Or did you dare to question their authority? Hmmm...  Again, I must say: everyone is welcome here! We have so many rubriques for all kinds of talk... of course we are "epifriends", Epiphone guitars have brought us together, but you can´t talk about Epiphone exclusively... I tried to log in a few weeks ago and surprisingly the site said I couldn´t! Either the password or the username was wrong or not existing... I was so mad that I immediatly registered anew as "Steelbishop" and started heckling... lol! I also wrote a nice letter to them... hehe! ;D Until I suddenly realised that I messed up the password, I simply used a wrong one that was from another website... DOH... I had to apologize then... |

Ahh, just when you think you are teaching them a lesson, it ends up blowing up in your face. Either way, I think they deal with enough nonsense on their forum nowadays that they don't really care (hopefully not, but I wouldn't bet on it). |

...earlier today I was on the gibson forum and connected to the epi forum from there...just my usual lurking to see what was going on...well...when I went to click on a section...I got a message back that said I had to log in...
...tried it later and it didn't say that...they were probably testing some software or something....

Thanks for the welcome guys. Uriah..I was Wierdsley on the epiforum also...I guess that I have always been Wierdsley, one way or another. But, I did lots of lurking and not all that much posting because so many of the questions I had were covered already. True, it may have been a system problem but I did try it a few times during the day with no luck. I hold no grudge...I will miss many of the members there...until they all come here ;D that is! Steelpriest...very nice work on this site, you can be very proud of it! |

well, they banned me after 400 posts!
I mind my internet manners and it takes a LOT to get me to blow up on a forum.
I think that the inmates are runnning the forum. I'm glad that we have this new place to hang out on and post away!
They really banned me for talking about Agiles on the forum. I registered with a new name, but so many of my friends are either here or a few other places I frequent, I really don't care to go back.
I think that Jim Rosenburg and gang at Epiphone are missing a few rungs out of their step ladder!

you guys really need to let that go. Its a business decision and its right in line with how the Gibson forums are ran. Yes it sucks but truely why get too concerned about it when you can't change it? This is much better anyway.

just to let u know i worked at a guitar factory and met the gibson owner and he is a wacko!
im not shitting u,
chris griffits the owner of garrisonguitar told us not to make fun of him when he was at the plant!!

i've met Henry as well, he signs my paycheck and yes he is somewhat eccentric but there are many other level headed people in the company.
