just a quick hello to all here. I have come from the EpiForums (under a different alias there). Reason being i am currently employed by Gibson/Epiphone and due to certain security agreements employees make i felt it better that i didn't let the 'cat out of the bag' on that forums so to speak. Anyway i can be 'myself' here but still trying to stay under the radar for now. Hope to answer some questions you may have from an insiders perspective (although i can't comment on certain issues). Oh and i wasn't bobskippy btw.

Smooth,...
Welcome,...
Steelpriest has done a fantastic job here,...!!
As I no longer participate in the "official Epiphone" forum for reasons of biased censorship, here on this forum we can speak of many things without fear of posts being deleted.
'nuff o' dat,....*S*
Again,...welcome

Oh and i wasn't bobskippy btw. yeah, and Epiphone's message board has turned into too much of the same stuff anyway (which guitar is better, give me info, I have a serious problem because I'm dumb, blah blah...) although it's good to have something "official" sometimes

Hi Epifriends *g*, I noticed lots of talk on this forum is not discussion or information, a lot is "smalltalk", but nothing wrong with it. Quite the contrary, I appreciate this... even in this "smalltalk" there´s hidden information, when you read between the lines and sum up what is said in all the postings of a whole thread. I´m sick an tired of all those "help with serial number, I´m to dumb to use a FAQ!" or "my toggle switch broke" posts on the official forum. I think we are a nice group over here and I like conversation here and feel very comfortable.

Steelpriest,....^5
Agreed,...!!
I feel very comfortable here, and plan to stay for a long time.
Yes, I joke about and make a few silly posts, but I am here to learn. For I acknowledge the wisdom and experience of the members here.
Will guitar related topics ever run out,...??
Nawwww
As long as there are different brands, different playing styles, and different views to share, I see this forum becomming one of the best, (if not allready the best,..!!)
But I also agree, that a little humor and "small talk" goes a long way in making this forum more interesting and albeit personal too, (which I like,...*S*)
We are people made of flesh and blood, with emotions, feelings, and wanting to share with others that have similar likes.
*Yeah,...we-uns LOVE guitars and gear*
Ok,....I'm rambling now, but in closing, I thoroughly enjoy posting to this forum, and will plan to continue to contribute what I can.
"nuff said again"

4 broken epis had to be putting us on, thats just crazy. You would have to be really slow to get duped that many times. I'm sure there are more horror stories out there.
