Oh no! I'm the kid! I'm 14(soon 15) years old. I live in sweden. Hope that you wont treat me like a rookie guitarplayer cause you have played for longer. Cause I kick the older guitar players ass in my town.

Cause I kick the older guitar players ass in my town. That brings to mind an idea I had a while back. Now I don't claim to be a great guitarist, but wouldn't it be fun to have a head cuttin contest here in the forum? You know, head cuttin, like on crossroads where Ralph Machio and Steve Via went at it down in Hell's Juke Joint. (And Yes I know Ralph Machio didn't really play that guitar but I cant remember who did so I siad Ralph Machio,,,,,so there) But wouldn't that be cool? Like a head cuttin area where we could send our hottest show off licks and put them up aginst one and other. And someone take like 15 or twenty of them and mix em down into like a head cuttin jam off. What do yall think? Zac

Yeah! It could be awesome! If you send in a hot solo(maybe everybody should have the same song to solo on) And then someone mixed it to one song. It could be real nice. Only one thing: If you dont have recording stuff, how are you gonna do?

Thanks, I allready like it. But just so you know: I'm not a rookie guitarist. I meant like compared to you 50 years old men i'm a rookie. But I feel pretty experianced as a guitarplayer. But I have been without an epiphone for too long. I have been playing an Ibanez (which is real nice), but when I play my goldtop, I know I have been missing something.

I was just brainstorming, hadn't really worked out the details. Zac

Well you seem damn sure of yourself, and that can be a good thing. Its perfect for a head cuttin contest. ;D

Hey Zac, I just watched Crossroads again last week, and the head cuttin part is too killer. ;D Ry Cooder plays the blues parts, and Steve Vai played both the kick ass classical and the screwed up version. Iread an interview and he said it was harder to learn the mess-ups than it was to learn the tune right in the first place. ;D

Ooops! I didn't mean to sound like a bragging brat. I just didn't want the "rookie" mark over me . But speaking of recording: Does anybody know any good free recording program? I'd like to make some recordings on my computer.

But you did remind me of the head cuttin idea. Sorry I don't know of any free computer stuff right now, but I bet someone does. Zac
