on my fender twin, and on many other amps ive owned. whether it be a 2 channel seperate, meaning youre plugged into one or the other. or, single channel w 2 channel switching, back & fourth. if youve got 2 seperate channels how come the channel youre not using effects the tone, treble, mid, bass or a bright switch of the one youre using at the time? i had a crate amp years ago that i did not use one of the channels (clean channel). the settings on the clean channel effected those on the gain channel, as did my randall head. it does the same thing on my fender reissue. i do not use the reverb channel, but the t, m, b, bs, have an effect on my main channel itself. any thoughts on this matter? it doesnt bother me at all, but just wondering. hope the way wrote it it wasnt confusing.

That is a pretty interesting question. I am just starting to learn the technical side of amps so, unfortunately I don't have an answer for you.
