Sounds amazing dude! I just gotta ask, since we're the same age....How the hell did you save up that money and more importantly how did u get ur parents to not kick you out for *cough* "wasting your money" *cough*? Please give me the secret to smooth talking parents ;D I'm a parent now and, as a musician, would understand... but I remember getting my first electric guitar as a teenager and my dad assuming that meant I was getting rid of my acoustic ("You can only play one at a time -- why do you need two?")....

How did I save up all that money? I sold my Special II for $100, and I work with my dad on most weekends for $5 an hour, and a normal day with my dad is about 12-15 hours (he works for himself), so I usually get between $60 or $75 a day. The money I earn from working with my dad I keep locked up in this small safe I have, so I wont be tempted to spend it. All in all it took me about 4 months to save up for everything. Plus when I went to guitar center to buy it, I talked them down to $1000 for the head and cab.
And my parents encourage me to play guitar. My mom doesn't really mind it being loud, as long as its not on full volume, and my dad is really only in the house at night, because he works all day, and at night I keep it quieter.

Well I think my parents are gaining more faith in me, especially since Ive started recording. They know Im serious now when they find songs Ive jotted down all over the house. Plus my mom actually knows what Im playing now, before she'd say it was all noise Anyways I can see it coming in around the end of summer if I keep begging... excuse me while I go beg again...

Jeez..did it again...bid on ebay...not really looking to buy, and get a deal. won by accident. picked up a little galaxie 10 for $97. Like the way it sounds...no reverb, but I have a pedal for that. didn't need another small tube amp but got one anyway. this is how I won my epi Lp...made a bid I didn't thnk would win and nobody bid again. I gotta quit surfin ebay.

I did that before too.....2 hours before end time I bid on my Epi 57 LP Goldtop. @ hours later I saw that I had won. In the end, the guitar, orig hang tags and receipts, and SKB hardshell case were mine....for a paltry $323....and that included shipping!!!!
Sure....I had to hear about it from the wife for the next few weeks....but hey.....I got a great deal!!!!
Good grab on the amp man.....
