 Krank amps are AWESOME!;D ;D www.krankamps.comThese things have the most AMAZING tone you've ever heard, and are SO loud! I have to say, this is the first innovation in "real" amp technology in a LONG time. I'm not to into the whole high gain bit, I'm ussually into a nice warm overdrive that sustains forever. But you can get thaty sound too! Check them out, you won't be dissapointed! Not to mention they look WICKED cool, and are not bad price wise either... Just thought I'd infrom you of an alternative ot Marshall or Line 6, which seem to dominate the amp poll... Aaron The admin felt free to fix the link to the Krank Amp site...

The amps look awesome, I never came across them before... by the way the meaning of "KRANK" in german language is actually "SICK" ...lol, ain´t that fun? ;D

That is SO cool what htat means in German! I wish I was biligual(yes, not all Canadians are anglophone and francophone...)!
Did you end up using htat info I gave you on the Gbson s1?

Looks cool, but not much in the inexpensive, small combo variety for those of us who don't have $1000 to shell out and don't really have any reason for that much power.

Of course, it has no place for a begginning practicing musician that only needs something loud enough to hear in his bed room(like me), but for a proffesional travelling musician, I think it may be the "next big thing". And it also brings up the point that so many experienced guitarists expect SO much from budget gear. Sure a digitech or zoom multi effects unit will never sound like an all tbe marshall, but it will never be priced the same either...
