Yeah, Sometimes it does. Custom Orders like Lefty Ricks and Gibson 56 Goldtops are not made in advance.

ah, you're lefty, i forgot! you know in fact i'm left handed too, but i play guitar the "right" way. I was afraid you might say you have one of the "C" Series Ricks.... in that case I really would have gotten kind of envious...

you dont happen to know what rickenbacker uses to finish their guitars with,do you?i own a ric 330 and am not sure but i dont think its polyurethane. the online factory tour doesnt divulge that info either. good luck with the gibby.

No, I sure don't. Email Rickenbacker and ask them. John Hall answered some of my questions when I emailed them.
