just got a new toy last week, a MIM standard strat.it plays great,low action,cant say anything bad about it at all . went to guitar center and they have a habit of lowering the price if a particular guitar doesnt sell after a while.i guess the kids dont go for white guitars.(hendix liked em tho)it was marked down to $299 and was still there so next time i went by i checked it out carefully no dents or scratches and offered $250 for it .took it home for that price...

flyv, sounds like a sweet deal. There`s a new GC in nearby Orlando that I have to get to soon. Maybe the price lowering is chain-wide? We`ll see. Congrats on the new addition!

wheres the new one? i go to the one off of lee rd. ,technically in winter park.BTW they are having a blow out sale monday at all g.c.(not that i would ever advocate anyone buying another guitar LOL)

Hey man, that`s what we really NEED, another excuse to buy a new axe. The new GC is on OBT, between the Beeline (528) and 417, next to Lane Furniture. I live in Kissimmee (Simpson Ridge), so I don`t get over to that section of OBT very often. I`m disabled, so Ive got lots of time to get there. However, you did mention a BIG SALE......

yeh,i got a letter about it the other day,i think it is at all locations. BTW i have some friends that play beatles music in that area ,if you like the beatles you should definatly check them out

the redcoats.actually never cared for the beatles till i saw these guys.last weekend i drove approx.160 miles each way to get to one of their shows. they are supposed to play dexters in winter park jul.9th.phone is407 629 1150 for directions/reservations

The Redcoats, huh? Thanks. I have to travel to NY for my neice`s wedding over the Fourth of July Weekend, and won`t be back until after the 9th. I`ll watch for them to appear a little closer to home. I enjoy the Beatles as much as anyone. I really enjoy live music of almost any style.
