hey there all! been a whille not much going on here at epifriends. its real quite! well i have a new query. i recently bought an ibanez MMM1 mike mushok sig guitar, and i was wondering that since i will be tuning ADADGB should i get a bass amp. i have a spider II 30 and a boss metal zone and a line 6 uber metal. and i do like to crank it up to 11. (this is spinal tap!?) anyway am i going to ruin my amp or am i safe to play through that amp. im not a performer by any stretch and i wont ever gig like this but i was just wondering. dont want to blow a good amp. ya know?

I recommend to be careful with such a baritone guitar or a 7 string tuned to B with a little combo amp. I´d say it is not very useful to play such a guitar with a small amp and enclosure. These kind of guitars have a tone range that require good quality 4x12" cabinets and tons of wattage!

hey hey, thanks steel, sorry to bombard you like that! but i had to know immediately cause im chompin at the bit to play this thing loud. well that sucks i guess my next purchase will be a head and 4X12 cab better known as a half stack. crap. oh well its a sweet guitar thought the finish isnt going to last and the nickel plated hardware looks dinky. i appreciate you answering so quickly.
P.S. no i cant get a hold of anybody that can help me at the music store that you told me about. laguage barrier so far. but im hard headed and will keep trying! thanks for letting me know about them tho.

uhh mr.tap, youll eventually kill any amp pegging it at 11. but uh yes a heavier wattage and speaker dispersion would help.
