I'm pretty sure most of you have seen the pics of the Custom Cabinets I had built for my JTM45 in late 2004. I was so impressed by their quality and looks that I ordered another Custom Cabinet for my Blues Jr in April 2005. In Sept. I was told it was almost done, some finish sanding and oil, then it could be shipped. Well another month went by and I'm started to see threads on other Guitar Forums about Cabinets not getting shipped, unanswered phone calls and emails, etc. I had contact with the builder and he explained he had been having some personal problems that he let get in the way of his work. I went to the various threads and defended him, telling everyone of his problems and that all was being taken care of. A couple of people got the Cabinets they had ordered. All except me. Then I was not getting answers to my phone calls and emails. When I did get through in early Jan. I was told my Cabinet was ready to ship, I even got a UPS tracking number. BUT the Cabinet NEVER shipped. My phone calls and emails have gone unanswered again! WELL, last week I got fed up, I called and left a message on his answering machine for him to stick the cabinet where the sun don't shine (not in those words) and to choke on the $400.00.
SO, buyer BEWARE: Bill Boekhoff aka Sultone Amps is not getting the job done. I recommend NOT doing business with him or his company.

man chet...sorry to hear that. i thought sultone was sort of a major player too. a major business. seems like i've seen several links on various guitar forums. maybe he will still come through..who knows sounds strange that you got a tracking number....that usually means something has been shipped. was there insurance ?

He submitted the info and a tracking number was issued, however UPS never recieved the package. There is nothing that UPS can do unless an item actually ships.

After posting on 8 different Guitar Forums and filing an Internet Fraud Report UPS now shows the cabinet as being shipped.

Ok, glad to hear that. So, what kind of cab is it? Like a transparent wood colour?

Ok, glad to hear that. So, what kind of cab is it? Like a transparent wood colour? An oiled Walnut 2x12 combo for a Fender Blues Jr chassis.

I've only heard good things about them. What would you recommend for a 15 watt 6V6 Fender deluxe I'm planning to build? It's gonna be a 1/12, but thats all I'm sure of so far.

It is of the same quality as the cabinets I previously recieved from him.
I will not be posting any pics of this cabinet.
