Ok here is one that came to mind while posting on another topic.
Do we have any Black Sabbath fans here at epifriends? ? ? ? Well if we do then you must like the song War Pigs. If so check out the Sacred Reich cover of War Pigs. It's on the Surf Nicaragua album. In my opinion it blows the whimpy Faith No More version away, hands down, no questions asked.
Just my opinion. Z ;D

In my formative years of guitar('83-88), I was totaly into Thrash Metal. Our best bet club to see a great show was the Iroquoi in Roanoke, VA...(pronounced rone-oak, ) and I got to see all kinds of the best of the whole genre...Testament, Overkill, Violence, and yes, Sacred Reich. It was just after they put Surf Nicaragua out, so they were in great form. That was one great show, and the singer started the first mosh by jumping down with us. They really ripped War Pigs a new one that night. ;D I agree that their version has more power than Sabbath, or Faith, but FNM's version of it has a bit more emotional depth than either of the other two, to me.
