Hi all, I'm a new member. I used to visit the forum as a voyeur, and I think it's really better than the official Epi site. I'm a Les Paul fan and I have an Epi 56GT and a Gibb classic Honneyburst. Both guitars are awesome, and I plan to keep them for a looooonnnngg time. I started playing three years ago and I have a lot to learn. I play mostly Blues and 50/60/70 rock. I'll post some pictures soon. For the moment you can see some of my pictures in dedalo.chez.tiscali.fr/MyPhotos.htm

Hello and welcome from another 56GT fan! You're right about this forum, it's way better than the official. So, what bands are your inspiration?

Welcome aboard.
What do you think about the Epi 56GT? I have seen a few in local stores and they look pretty nice. Being a Lefty though I am kinda outta luck with them. SO I did the next best thing, I ordered a Gibson R6.

What do you think about the Epi 56GT? Mine feels the most solidly built out of all the Epi Les Pauls I have or have had, and you all should know I like P-90s!

I asked be removed from that forum. just not ever going back was not good enough. I don't even want my profile to show up there anymore. I go so ticked off at the members there...
This is a much better foum, I think it will take a bit more time, but the number of users will increase. as people get ticked off at the other forum..
Welcome!

Hi all,
It's really nice to be here. Thanks for your welcome. Answering CEFeathers, The 56GT are the best LP made by Epiphone, in my opinion. I haven't tested the elitist series until now,but there's no comparaison with the standard ones. The main problem I noticed on standard Les Paul was the pickups that didn't haveTHE sound I was waiting from a Les Paul.
Even my friends that own a standard Epi LP were amazed by the P90 sound and the 56 GT playability.
When I bought this one I had the choice between the 56GT ans a satndard GT. I choose the 56 GT and I have no regrets.
If you can find one LH go for it It really rocks

;D They Banned Harry Houdini from the official forum lol, I guess he pushed on Agile too many lol.
Those of you who don't know, Harry has been at the heart of countless flame wars and generaly considers Korean and Chinese made Epis to be trash.

Oh, boy do I KNOW HIM!.. Shame.. The jerks chase us good guys away and they allow the jerks to stay on forever...
I wrote the admins about him and a few others... But they did not write me back to try to keep me on the system. Just went unanswered.
