Those are pretty decent little amps, I looked at one of those during my last amp shopping spree.

I never made experiences with the bigger Crate amps, but I owned two small practise 15 watts amps from Crate, both were nice and sounded really awesome for such little combos. Very reliable, affordable, ideal for practising at home. The full tube Crate heads are totally overpriced in my opinion, guess that´s why they are so seldom to be found amongst friends. Among my pals who also play in bands still Marshalls are most popular...

I use a little crate mx15r on the road. Picked it up at GC on sale for $49 new. Its 15 watts with reverb with headphone jack and sounds great for what it is. Best amp purchase I think I've made. Love it Have no experience with the tube amps though. Curious...but there are just so many choices in the same price range.

I was out shopping for a 15W amp and tried out the Marshall MG15CDR , Laney HCM15 and Inbanez ToneBlaster TB15.
Surprisingly the Ibanez has the best characteristics in tone among the three. I thought the Marshall would be a winner but I was wrong. It sounded 'thin' when compared to the Ibanez.
I ended up buying another Ibanez amp, this time the TB25 and it sounded really good and warm.
Real good value for money too! Try it out yourself!

Yes, recently I read a review in a german guitar magazine... the Ibanez Tone Blaster series got a very good review for his tone and his price. It is a bit more than just a practise amp, they had this 25 watts model for their test in that mag. Congratulations! Here in Germany Ibanez amplifiers are hard to find and absolutely not popuplar. Maybe Ibanez should advertise them somewhat more... I bet they are as good as their guitars...

Hi Steel
Over here in Singapore, Ibanez amps are good value and quite popular too. The TB25 costs as little as SGD280 (133 Euros, USD164) brand new whilst the TB15 is only SGD120 (57 Euros, USD70). The reverb models would cost about SGD30 (14 Euros, USD18) to SGD50 (24 Euros, USD29) more.
Ibanez has a good range here too, including bass and acoustic amps.
Maybe you should plan a holiday here and pick up on some gear, new and used. Some of them are really good value for money.
