 1956 Epi
« Thread Started on Sept 4, 2008, 12:37pm »

I have been trying to research my guitar and I can find nothing. Every road I travel is a dead end. My guitar is a 1956 Epiphone FT-210 Deluxe Cutaway. Does anyone know anything about this guitar? Doesnt another one exist anywhere in the world? Any information will be greatly appreciated.

Tim

I owned one at one time. Wouldn't mind owning another again. There were plenty of these made in the 50s through about 1957.
It's basically a forerunner of the Guild F-50 with a cutaway. The back and sides are typically plywood, the top is solid. Does that match what you have?

Is yours natural or sunburst? Mine was natural.
