I have been very fortunate when buying guitars. Example I bought a satriani JS100 with the hard case for $100. Long story but it needed the neck pickup reset and a good clean up. 2 weeks ago at a garage sale I picked up a aged white MIM strat with as the lady called it a sack for $35. Again really needed a clean up and new strings. Yesterday picked up a Strat American standard 1987 burst didn't need clean up. Ashamed to say what I paid. the guitars listed in my profile cost a total of less than $500...People are starting to follow me around...Ed
