Well, you can never be sure. But it seems damn mysterious. He knows nothing about it, doesn't say how he got it either.

:o I`ll bet it would burn your fingers if you picked it up! Some Dude scratched off the serial #`s, huh? I wonder who the "some Dude" is. Awfully fishy smelling to me, but he is at 100% on his feedback.

He does have 100% feedback, but I wouldn't want to risk buying something when the buyer doesn't even know what the deal with it is...and then there's the whole bit about the serial number... ::)

Yea, I wouldn't touch that with a 10 foot pole! Actually, I'd really like it if someone reported it to eBay as suspicious/possible stolen goods. If it did turn out to be hot, nothing would make me happier than to see the guy pinched.

Back in my younger days when was gigging, if I ever caught someone trying to make away with one of my guitars it wouldn't have been pretty.

I know what you mean. If I caught someone with my stolen gear, I don't think that I would be able to stay cool and report it to the police. It's too personal. I would be f**king furious. Luckily it has never happened to me.

a boy from school did try to make away with my 1000 dollar stevie ray vaughn, custom built by me and my dad, stratocaster. i didnt know it was him, cause when he stole it, he didnt know it was mine, and when i told him that i filed a police report on it, he gave it back. later during church softball, he was playing catcher, and i was hitting, so i "accidentally" stepped too far back in the box and tried to hit him in the head with my bat ;D
